Log cabin story

We finally arrived at the forest, the deep dark forest that made people’s muscles tight with fear. As we step on the leafy path we kick up the dead leaves and they swish and swoosh.The curved tree made us very nervous as we thought they might fall on us. The playful fireflies came out making the forest noisy.

The deeper you travel the darker the forest becomes. Our legs shivered with fear, it is so dark but we still kept moving forward.                                                                     

Eventually the trees thinned out, there was now space for more sunlight to shine through. We could just about see a path slowly appear.

The trees are tall and the grass smiled with flowers. We still walked for a long way until we saw brown logs in a pile, We wondered what it was. As we got closer we saw that it was an old broken log cabin.

The logs were old and cracked. Some had broken completely. As we stepped towards it the cabin made some creaky sounds. It scared us but we still entered, it seemed empty but then we hear something coming...

Sky Tower

        

 The trip to the Sky tower

On 2015/6/11 morning we went to the Sky tower!!!

We went there with Rm17 and Rm11 because it is a year 3 trip and our topic is building. We took a bus to go there.

20 minutes later we arrive Sky tower.

The first thing we did was to split into groups, in the groups half of Rm 11 is with us (Rm 9) and the other half is with Rm17. Then we went to the slideshow, the slideshow is about facts of Sky tower, like how tall it is, which

two buildings are smaller than Sky tower……    

After that we went to the observation deck (level 51) where we filled in a sheet. The sheet is about places in Auckland. After I filled it up I went to stand on the glass and that is my favorite part.

Then we went to the refuge room(level 45- 49). The refuge room is strong enough to defend a bomb, fire and it can defend earthquakes. Did you know that in the refuge room it has a cupboard inside?  Some people said blankets and food were inside but it actually has coloring books. It sounds weird but if there are children they can’t get bored. Then we went down to the bottom and got ready to go back to school.

How I beat my high score                                                                                                                                                              

I’m nervous because it’s my only chance to beat the high score. Now it’s starting I heard the whistle and the bark from the dog. Suddenly a train came, I swiped dark Jake quickly across. Then a 2x star appears in front of me so I swipe dark Jake quickly across to collect it. Then the power flower appears so I collect it too. If I collect 24 more I will have a mystery prize.

After that I elevated on the top of the train to collect coins because the coins will be added into my points. With this I can upgrade 2x star to help me beat my high score. After that I continue the game trying to beat my high score. ln the game l roll under a barrier. Then I collect jetpacks, l’m happy because there won’t be trains crashing into me.

After that I accidentally crash into the traffic light. Then the police man catches up. l just thought l’m being caught. Then a jet pack appears l collect it. After that l went down onto the railway, then l accidentally crashed into the train and l died. l feel happy because l beat my high score.
