Camp moment: Goning to sleep

Going to sleep

The night falls as the children went to bed. Mr Mulholland went in every cabin and told them to put their lights out. “Bang!”The door of cabin 14 was as loud as thunder.The four boys climbed into their bunk beds after the teacher told them to.The icy wind blew through the open window like a sharp knife striking at the speed of lightning.Each time one of the boys moved the bunk bed sounded like a mouse squeaking for help. Out of the cabin on the wet green grass the crickets kept chirping away happily singing their songs.

The four boys were lying on the bed chatting about how their day was. A God’s eye banged on the metal pole echoing across the room. The time slowly advanced towards midnight,the boys still couldn't sleep with the shiny, yellow lights glowing. The boys need to sleep since tomorrow is a hard day. The four boys lying on their beds, their eyes grows heavier and heavier until eventually they saw nothing but darkness.

We finally arrived at the forest, the deep dark forest that made people’s muscles tight with fear. As we step on the leafy path we kick up the dead leaves and they swish and swoosh.The curved tree made us very nervous as we thought they might fall on us. The playful fireflies came out making the forest noisy.

The deeper you travel the darker the forest becomes. Our legs shivered with fear, it is so dark but we still kept moving forward.                                                                     

Eventually the trees thinned out, there was now space for more sunlight to shine through. We could just about see a path slowly appear.

The trees are tall and the grass smiled with flowers. We still walked for a long way until we saw brown logs in a pile, We wondered what it was. As we got closer we saw that it was an old broken log cabin.

The logs were old and cracked. Some had broken completely. As we stepped towards it the cabin made some creaky sounds. It scared us but we still entered, it seemed empty but then we hear something coming...

Baby Visit 6

29/7/16 we met baby Skylah this is the first week of the term .When I saw baby Skylah I noticed she has being cold because her nose was red and she has more hair.

I was surprised because she can sit up without falling and the thing that let me unbelievable thing is  she can crawl a little!That is a very big milestone and she can put her hand in the bowl and pull the fish out.

For baby Skylah´s safety mummy Bel used a safety gate for the dangerous place,she might choke by lego piece because she had a older sibling.

She might can crawl faster sit up more straighter than last time and grow more hair next time.

Today baby Skylah came to our classroom when she came in I was surprised,she has more hair,she can sit straight and she can hold on 2 balls!!!

I feel proud when she can hold on a soft toy and she can put the soft toy back.

I think next time she can take 3 ball at a time and she might crawl around the ground.

The third time we meet baby Skylah she has lots of new hair and she has been grown

bigger.

This time my favourite is when we saw her roll by herself,I felt proud for her.

I think she can crawl next time when we meet her.
